Year 1 Leadership Guide
Sounding the Trumpet: Educating for Jubilee is designed to
help people at the parish and congregational level to provide Jubilee leadership and to
animate the debt campaign. This accessible and engaging 28 page book focuses on the
Initiative's biblically grounded vision of Jubilee and the call to cancel the unpayable
debts of the world's poorest nations, a call which emerges from our first theme, Release
from Bondage. We offer for your use a broad range of introductory materials on both
topics, a bible study, workshops and activities to appeal to people of all ages, an
ecumenical New Year's Eve service, and a substantial list of resources for further study.
