National Networking

For each province and the territories, you will find a networking page including local contact information, upcoming events, and a list of Jubilee Communities.

Jubilee Communities:

One of the goals of the Canadian Ecumenical Jubilee Initiative is to make ecumenical links at the local level and to cooperate on Jubilee campaigns with other church communities. Local churches may even choose to become "Jubilee Communities" committed to action in the spirit of Jubilee by taking the Jubilee Pledge. Included on each province's page is the list of the communities we know about to date (by province).  Please make sure to mail a completed copy of your Jubilee Pledge to the office of the Canadian Ecumenical Jubilee Initiative so that your community can be added to this list.

Contact and Event Information:

We also continue to develop a list of contacts and events across the country to help bring people together to work for Jubilee. If you have news of local events or if you would like to add your name to this list, please send an e-mail message to the . In your message, please the following information:

  • Your name, mailing address, contact phone number, (fax), and e-mail.

  • A brief description of your own involvement in the Jubilee Initiative to date along with the name of your home parish/congregation and denomination.

  • The names of church congregations and parishes (with denomination noted) involved in the Initiative in your area.

  • Notes about the actions you are involved in or plans for the future.
