Online Bingo: The New Craze

Bingo is a hugely fun and highly popular game enjoyed by enthusiasts everywhere. Though the game of bingo is an old one — the game was introduced into the United States in the 1930s, it has been a popular mainstay of games (for fun or profit) ever since.

Given the passion game-lovers have for bingo, it was inevitable that an online version of bingo would be created – and so it was. Online bingo games began appearing on the Internet in the late 1990s, and the popularity of online bingo has skyrocketed since then. Some estimates figure that online bingo games will soon gross $1 billion worldwide. That’s a lot of bingo!

What’s behind the online bingo craze? First of all, there is fun to be had, and lots of it, for true bingo enthusiasts. Though playing online is different from playing amid the noise and chatter of a party of casino bingo, online bingo usually offers a “chat” feature, so you can interact with other players as the game is played.

Obviously, serious players can also be big winners in the online bingo arena. Bingo winners who play frequently can win big with online games. The potential is enormous in online bingo — and it’s available right from the comfort of your own home.

As online bingo has grown in popularity, even more choices for play are cropping up. Sites like X Bingo offer a variety of bingo games with fantastic potential jackpots, all at a low card cost to get you started.

If you haven’t joined the online bingo craze yet, what are waiting for? Log on and jump in — the next jackpot may just be yours!

Online Etiquette: Timely Play

It’s an expectation of ease. A game is accessed with a screen, profits earned with keystrokes. An online casino offers convenience — with you able to inject thrills into your hours, join virtual tables from the comforts of home. It’s an ideal arrangement… until you become distracted.

Strategies are studied; tutorials are consulted. You seek information while rounds are being played. And the result is lagging speeds and hesitation, with you trying to manipulate the cards as they’re tossed. You stall every hand. You force others to wait.

And a flurry of messages is sent to your account because of this. None of them are flattering.

It’s an all too simple thing for players to be lulled by online gambling. It lacks the structure of its brick and mortar counterparts, doesn’t demand vigilance. Games are played from home, and this removes all sense of formality.

It doesn’t, however, remove the need for proper etiquette.

There are countless rules that define gaming — but none are more vital than the ones of speed. Rounds are meant to be efficient. Decisions should be made quickly, with only a few moments spared for deliberation. Players who therefore decide to take advantage of time limits (pausing until the last moments to place their bets) are violating a vital code: immediacy must be maintained.

Individuals must remember therefore to be aware of their surroundings. All games should be accomplished quickly. Forcing others to wait is as rude as it is tedious; and it’s a breach of etiquette that must be refused.

The rounds must be fast. This is both a necessity and a courtesy.
